Danny’s Dream is a service that provides personal assistant support to individuals with profound, complex and multiple learning disabilities. Our personal assistants are matched with the individual service users to provide a trusted team model, supporting individuals with mental health, learning disabilities and physical disabilities and promoting independence as far as possible. The PA teams are trained to support with a range of medications administration including emergency medications and specialisms such as PEG / JEJ.

Danny’s Dream is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is rated as Outstanding.

Danny’s Dream was the vision of a group of families who wanted their disabled family members to be able to live their best lives through personalised support. The late Danny was the inspiration and our first service user. The history of Danny’s Dream has been captured in a timeline on the Club walls.

The club is located on the ground floor of The Octagon on Walker Street. The club has been designed by Danny’s Dream staff to be Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant and includes a quiet room, a larger room with pool table, television, and space for activities and a sensory room. Designated changing spaces include a wet room and hoisting equipment.

We deliver our care and support needs in the community, in the service users’ home and through the Danny’s Dream club. Most of our service users do have club access as part of their package and enjoy a range of activities and sessions including in partnership with other organisations such as Art Link.
