What Do We Do?

FareShare Hull & Humber are a surplus food redistribution charity, saving food from waste and diverting it to charities and community groups who use the food to support vulnerable people in our communities who are facing food poverty and insecurity.

Our supporters

The majority of food we receive comes through national relationships that FareShare UK have with the food industry such as Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda, McCains, Arla, Nestle, PepsoCo ect. We also have relationships with local companies such as Cranswick, Pipers, BBF, Birdseye and many more.

Across 2022/23 we delivered the equivalent of over 2.5 million meals to help support people facing food poverty, whilst simultaneously reducing 1083 tonnes of food waste.

FareShare Community Pantry

In January 2023 we opened the FareShare Community Pantry with the aim of supporting the local community and those working on the industrial estate where we are based. The pantry is run each week by ThisAbility learners who have a variety of hidden disabilities, providing them with retail experience.

The Community Pantry is open every Wednesday 11am-2pm, and is for registered members only. To register please use this link https://faresharehullhumber.org/fareshare-community-pantry
