This month, we have had two of our participants represent Hull Kingston Rovers Learning disabilities Rugby Team who played in front of 26,500 fans at half time during the Catalans and Warrington fixture at St James Park Newcastle over the weekend 8-9 July.

Jack volunteers with us at the Fareshare warehouse, helping to pick and sort orders in readiness for delivery to our CFMs. Jack is a mad Rugby fan especially Hull Kingston Rovers. Jack also loves having rugby conversations at the start and the end of his shifts with us especially the Hull FC fans. Jack really enjoyed his game and he stated that it was even better as they beat the Hull FC LDRL team.

Josh is on our traineeship programme where he has been developing his Maths & English whilst gaining valuable work experience and further qualification in warehousing & Storage. Again, Josh Supports Hull Kingston Rovers and Plays for the LDRL team. Josh attends the warehouse 2 days a week helping to supply much needed food to our CFMs.

Well done from all the staff and Volunteers at Goodwin Development Trust and Fareshare Hull & Humber.
