ABOUT FENCHURCH CLUSTER CHILDREN CENTRES
Fenchurch CC Cluster are commissioned by the Local Authority and consist of Fenchurch, Marvell & Octagon Children Centres. They are all located within the perimeters of Hull City Centre and based within the Wyke and Riverside areas of the city.
It is our aim to improve outcomes for young children to ensure they are all equipped for life and ready for school, no matter what their background or family circumstance. We are proud to promote the inclusion of all children, their families / carers and aspire to create a safe and nurturing environment.

We offer a wide range of services for you and your family, delivering the universal offer with essential services and are also very much part of the Early Help offer for those families in most need through services that are practical, helpful and fun!

FAMILY LINKS NURTURING
This course runs for 10 weeks – 2 hours per week.
The parenting puzzle – a toolkit of useful ideas to help you enjoy family life. The course helps parents and children understand and deal with behaviour, improve relationships at home and in school, develop confidence and self-esteem. This course is for adults only and suitable for parents and carers of children under the age of 11
HENRY PROGRAMME
(Health Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young)
This course runs for 8 weeks – 2 hours per week.
HENRY – Health, Exercise, and Nutrition for the Really Young is an eight-week parenting programme. The programme aims to help parents to understand and manage feelings and behaviour whilst becoming more aware of healthy lifestyles and the role it plays in family life.
Topics Include -
• Family goals
• Styles of parenting
• Guidance and praise
• Family reward systems
• Healthy eating habits
• Giving children choices
• Time to be active
• Let’s eat healthily
• Introducing solid foods
• Portion sizes and food labels
INCREDIBLE YEARS PROGRAMME
This course runs for 14 weeks – 2 hours per week.
Incredible Years programme is ideal for parents/carers who have care of children aged 2 – 8 Years. The course includes –
• Building stronger relationships through play
• Supporting your child/children to build strong social skills
• Support children with their emotions
• The use of praise and incentives to help encourage the behaviour you want
• Establish rules, routines and setting effective Limits
• Using positive discipline and handling unwanted behaviour
TRIPLE P
This course runs for 8 weeks – 2 hours per week.
Take the guesswork out of parenting, meet other parents and find new simple and practical strategies to help you confidently manage your child’s behaviour, prevent problems developing and build strong, healthy relationships. This course is for adults only and suitable for parents and carers of children aged 18 months to 11 years old.
