The Do It Project is an innovative programme that offers you the opportunity to enhance your personal and social development with a view to advancing into the career you want.

You will develop your confidence and employability skills with the support of an assigned Keyworker who can guide you through your tailor-made programme.

Using a person-centred approach, we work with you to decide what elements of our project you would like to engage with so we can provide a meaningful and useful experience to facilitate your progression.

We take a non-judgemental, supportive approach that identifies your skills and abilities to get you to where you want to be. The level of support you receive is decided by you as we believe that you are the expert on you.

Members of the project will create a personalised timetable which could include Employability Skills, one to one appointments, Maths & English, Events Management, Work Tasters, Work Placements, Games Design and more.

Due to the funding requirements of our project, to be eligible for the Do It Project you must:

  • Live in Hull and be between the ages of 16-29
  • Unemployed and not engaged in education
  • Have not completed a Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) project before. If you are unsure about this we can check.
