Goodwin Development Trust is a successful community business that seeks to improve people’s quality of life through developing and delivering gap services. We are now looking to recruit a professional and confident individual for the co-ordination and delivery of the European Regional Development Funded Enterprising Neighbourhood Renewal and Growth (ENRG) Project and the Arts Council Funded Creative ENRG strand of the offer. ENRG provides an integrated three phase support programme for enterprise consisting of Ready – designed to stimulate entrepreneurship and pre-enterprise; Set – aimed at providing support for new businesses who are less and 12 months old and Grow – aimed at business more than 12 months old and providing support to move on an grow.

 

Goodwin Development Trust is now recruiting for a highly motivated individual to manage the project. The successful candidate will be based at the Goodwin Community Hub, but will be expected to work flexibly as required by service users.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £35,000

(Fixed term until 31st December 2018, however may be extended subject to further funding)

 

Your primary responsibilities will be to direct line manage the Goodwin ENRG delivery and compliance team, liaise with key partners and stakeholders, establish and maintain effective systems to ensure eligibility and full data capture of all project related activity and work with partners to ensure that all aspects of the project meet with contractual requirements, eligibility guidance and best practice guidelines. The post holder will oversee all marketing and PR activity in line with procured services and ensure all activity meets eligibility and best practice guidelines. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that project targets and milestones are achieved and funding maximised, in accordance with funding applications and agreements, manage the overall operations of the project, ensuring financial viability at all times in relation to all aspects of the project and establish and maintain effective systems to ensure the successful management of the project, including the submission of accurate and timely claims to funding bodies.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a senior project management role, excellent understanding of public funding rules (ERDF), strong experience of regeneration and economic development programmes and funding, stakeholder engagement and experience of business support development and delivery.
