Fenchurch Nursery

Nursery Cook– Ref NC01

25 hours per week

Equivalent to NMW/NLW for 25 years and over

This role is either all year round or term time only (negotiable)

This is a permanent role.

 

You will be working as part of the childcare team based at The Fenchurch Nursery. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide a balanced, healthy & nutritious diet for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years.  You will have a current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (received within the last 3 years). Some experience of working with children, as well as experience in food preparation and varying dietary needs is desirable.  It is essential that you are able to maintain clear and legible records and you must be willing to undertake any relevant training.

The Octagon Nursery

The Octagon Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be working as part of the team based at The Octagon Children’s Centre although you may be required to work at one of our other sites.

Job Ref:  EYPO1

1 x Early Years Practitioner, 40 hours per week

Salary £16,140.80 per annum

You will be working as part of the team based at The Octagon Children’s Centre.  Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver high quality childcare and education for children ranging from 6 weeks – 5 years. In addition, you will be expected to carry out a range of duties including supporting the full nursery team (including students and volunteers), working with the children’s centre team and working closely with children and their families. You will need to hold a minimum relevant Level 3 qualification and ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting families within a childcare setting. A working knowledge of the EYFS is essential and you should be committed to providing high quality play and learning opportunities and working in partnership with parents and carers.

The full time role based within our Twilight Twos Room with children aged 2 – 3 years old, working Monday to Friday.
