The Octagon Nursery

You will be working as part of the team based at The Octagon Children’s Centre although you may be required to work at one of our other sites.

1 x Early Years Practitioner, 40 hours per week
Salary £16,140.80 per annum
You will be working as part of the team based at The Octagon Children’s Centre. Your primary responsibilities will be to deliver high quality childcare and education for children ranging from 6 weeks – 5 years. In addition, you will be expected to carry out a range of duties including supporting the full nursery team (including students and volunteers), working with the children’s centre team and working closely with children and their families. You will need to hold a minimum relevant Level 3 qualification and ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting families within a childcare setting. A working knowledge of the EYFS is essential and you should be committed to providing high quality play and learning opportunities and working in partnership with parents and carers.
The full time role based within our Twilight Twos Room with children aged 2 – 3 years old, working Monday to Friday.
