Do It Project

New Final logo

The Do It Project is an innovative new program that offers unemployed people between the ages of 16-29 the opportunity to enhance their personal and social development. With a recruitment focus on people with hidden disabilities and low-level mental health issues, we provide a safe place for Members to socialise, learn and grow. We work with a person-centred approach, so our Members will never feel pressured to take part in any events.

Based at the new Member-led community Café in the Octagon, Members will receive 1-to-1 support as well as the exciting chance to experience three industry pathways. Members are free to choose to engage in whatever pathway they wish and flexibility is given if Members want to try other activities.

Pathways include

Catering

Media and Creativity

Horticulture

Community Development
